Application

Organic soy granules chopped the vegan meat substitute

For this textured soy, organically grown soybeans are dehulled, cold pressed and extruded. Through a special process at low temperatures, the positive properties (nutrients, vitamins, etc.) from the soy are preserved. This manufacturing process makes organic soy granules chopped the perfect vegan minced meat substitute / organic soy mince. Examples of well-known extrudates are: Cornflakes, peanut flips and just vegan soy products.

Our organic chopped soy granules are a pure natural product, free of preservatives.

How to prepare soy granules? How long should the soy granules soak?

Our soy granules only need to be poured over with hot water. After 5 - 10 minutes, the excess liquid should be poured off. After that, you can use the ready-to-cook granules in your recipes just like minced meat.

How much granules replace how much meat?

It is calculated that 100 g of not yet soaked soy granules replace 300 g of fresh minced meat. This healthy and protein-rich meat substitute is ideal for vegans and vegetarians and can be used in the same way as seitan. This ideal vegan alternative is ideal for sauces (bolognese), casseroles, chilis, stews, lasagna and fritters.

What does extruded mean?

Extrusion refers to a process in which raw materials containing protein or and starch are first compressed in an extruder/screw press and then forced through a relatively small opening. The pressure drop at the valve causes the extrudate to expand. This results in a porous, breakable structure with low density after drying.
